Answers, before you ask
Does HAVEN require a subscription?
Not for the fence. Your GPS boundaries are stored on the collar itself, so containment works without an active plan, which means no monthly fee to keep your dog inside their safe zone. A HAVEN connectivity plan is needed for the features that send data to your phone: live 4G tracking, escape alerts, and remote app access. Your first 12 months of connected features are included in your purchase
What happens to the fence if I cancel my plan?
Nothing. Containment keeps working exactly as before, because the boundary is stored on the collar rather than in the cloud. Only live tracking, escape alerts and remote app access will require an updated plan.
Does HAVEN work without WiFi?
Yes. HAVEN is designed for outdoor use and uses GPS, Bluetooth and 4G connectivity depending on the feature and environment.
How accurate is the GPS?
GPS performance depends on the environment and sky view. In open areas with a clear sky view, GPS accuracy is typically around 1 metre. Set and test boundaries in an open outdoor area and follow the setup and training guidance in the manual.
Can I create different safe zones?
Yes. HAVEN supports circular boundaries, polygon boundaries, customised scenes and no-go zones. You can have up to 6 fences saved in the app at any one time.
What is Dog Finder?
Dog Finder uses sound, light and Bluetooth to help you locate your dog when they are nearby.
Does HAVEN track health?
HAVEN provides Activity, Sleep and Barking Insights including steps, calories burnt, activity time and sleep duration. HAVEN activity insights are designed to support everyday awareness and are not medical advice or veterinary diagnosis.
Is training required?
Yes. Your dog needs supervised boundary training to understand the warning cues and learn where the boundary is. Follow the user manual, introduce the system gradually, and reward your dog for returning to the safe area.
Test the boundary before use. Do not rely on the collar as your dog’s only protection near roads or other hazards.
Is static correction required?
No. Owners can choose tone, vibration or optional static settings depending on their dog and training approach.
Is it waterproof?
HAVEN is rated IP67 for everyday outdoor conditions. A water immersion sensor is located on the device to confirm contact with water. As with any electronic device, performance depends on correct sealing and care.
How long does the battery last?
Battery life depends on usage. The collar supports up to 48 hours in real-time tracking mode and up to 96 hours in normal use.
